Scope and effective date
This CalculatorOnline.xyz privacy policy describes the current behavior of CalculatorOnline.xyz, operated by CalculatorOnline.xyz, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. It is effective August 29, 2026. Contact support@calculatoronline.xyz with a privacy question.
The policy distinguishes four categories that are easy to confuse: arithmetic state inside the current page, information used by ordinary web hosting, text a user deliberately copies, and correspondence a user voluntarily emails. It explains service data practices and is not legal advice for an individual situation.
Expressions, results, tape, and memory
The calculators process entered numbers and expressions in the browser. The active expression, normalized form, result, exact rational form, error position, running tape, and memory register remain in volatile page memory. The tool code does not send those values to CalculatorOnline.xyz, a calculation API, analytics vendor, database, or account service.
The application does not place calculator content in URLs, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, cookies, structured data, or analytics events. A refresh, tab close, browser crash, or Reset all action removes the state from the page. The site cannot retrieve it afterward.
“Local” describes calculator content processing. It does not mean that loading a hosted website is a network-free act. The browser still requests HTML, scripts, styles, images, and other public resources from the host.
Ordinary hosting information
CalculatorOnline.xyz uses Vercel for hosting. Like other web infrastructure, the host and network providers may process request information needed to deliver and protect the service. Depending on configuration, that can include IP address, request time, requested path, response status, user-agent or device information, referrer, and security signals.
This information is separate from the expression in the calculator. The application does not intentionally add expressions, results, tape lines, or memory values to request paths, query strings, headers, or custom logs. CalculatorOnline.xyz reviews the host’s configuration, retention, regions, and security controls and updates this policy if the data path materially changes.
Vercel’s privacy terms and subprocessors also apply to its infrastructure. Visitors can report observed cookies, storage, or network behavior that differs from this policy by sending the affected route and a non-sensitive reproduction to support.
Clipboard actions
Copy result and Copy tape run only after a user gesture. When clipboard permission succeeds, the selected text enters the operating system or browser clipboard. From that point, clipboard history, synchronization, extensions, other applications, and device policy may affect it.
CalculatorOnline.xyz does not read the existing clipboard as part of its calculator behavior. Reset all does not clear an operating-system clipboard or synced clipboard history. Avoid copying confidential information on a shared or managed device unless its clipboard policy is understood.
Support email and rights messages
Emailing support@calculatoronline.xyz creates a separate communication. CalculatorOnline.xyz and its email providers receive the sender address, message, headers, and attachments. The message may be retained as needed to answer, maintain security, document a correction, address rights, resolve a dispute, or comply with law.
Do not send a private tape, credentials, payment data, government identifiers, health information, student records, or confidential business numbers. Use a small invented expression to reproduce a problem. If correspondence contains unnecessary personal information, a user may ask for appropriate correction or deletion, subject to legal, security, operational, and backup limits.
Cookies, analytics, accounts, and uploads
The application code sets no cookies. It uses no analytics vendor, account, login, payment, file upload, calculation API, advertising profile, or persistent history. The Cookies page distinguishes those facts from browser cache, host metadata, and tools or extensions outside the site’s control.
Before a future feature introduces analytics, persistent preferences, error monitoring with content, or an account, CalculatorOnline.xyz will update this policy and provide any required choices. A policy statement cannot substitute for the service’s actual behavior.
Worked data-flow example
A user enters (18.75 × 3) - 12.50 and presses Enter. The tokenizer, parser, rational engine, result card, tape, and memory logic run in the active document. No calculation request is sent. The browser has already requested the public page and asset files, so ordinary host records may exist without the expression.
The user selects Copy result. 43.75 enters the device clipboard after permission. The user then emails support with the invented expression because Backspace behaved unexpectedly. The email, but not the untouched in-page tape, becomes correspondence. Refreshing the page clears the volatile calculation state; it does not erase the clipboard, email, browser cache, or host logs.
Security and data minimization
The calculator uses a strict tokenizer, avoids eval and dynamic code construction, caps input and rational size, escapes visible text, keeps user content out of page metadata, and avoids content-bearing telemetry. HTTPS, security headers, dependency maintenance, and host controls protect the surrounding service, although no public website is risk-free.
No security measure makes a public website or device risk-free. Users should keep consequential records in systems designed for them, minimize sensitive input, maintain independent backups, and follow organizational policy.
Age, regions, and rights
The minimum age for the service is 16. CalculatorOnline.xyz is not designed to create child profiles or collect student records. A person who cannot agree to the Terms should not use the site.
Privacy rights vary by location and may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or complaint rights. CalculatorOnline.xyz can respond only to information it controls. It cannot recover an expression that never left page memory or erase a clipboard managed by a device.
Privacy questions
Does the site receive my expression?
No. Calculator code does not send the expression. If browser inspection shows otherwise, report the route and request evidence to support.
Is current tape state stored in my browser after refresh?
No persistent web storage is approved; page memory disappears on refresh.
Does Reset all delete host records or email?
No. It clears only calculator state in the active page.
Can I request a copy of an old result?
No. The site has no account or result archive from which to retrieve it.
